SAC Presents: Musician Nelly’s Echo (from “The Voice”)

Event Description:
The Student Activities Council will be hosting Musician Steve Means on Monday, April 29 at 7pm. The show will be hosted on the Kent Library Lawn (to the right on the fountain). This event is free to Southeast Students, Faculty, and Staff with a Valid Redhawks ID.
Nigerian-born Nelson "Nellys Echo" Emokpae fled his home country at 15 with his entire family and just two suitcases. The family settled in Baltimore, where Nellys Echo honed his vocal skills singing with his brothers and learned the guitar. The 32-year-old singer/songwriter quit his job as a physical therapist and is now pursuing music full time.

Student Activities Council holds weekly meetings on Tuesday at 7pm in the University Center Redhawks Room. Meetings are open to all Southeast Students.
