Event Description:
Voices of children who survived the 1994 genocide in Rwanda: A Reflection--The 1994 genocide in Rwanda has been rated as the most efficient genocide in terms of the number of victims it claimed within 100 days. The presenter for “Voices of children who survived the 1994 genocide in Rwanda: A Reflection” will be Dr. Musa Olaka, Assistant Director & Instructor Head for Kent Library. However, there are children from Gitarama Prefecture of Rwanda who lived through this genocide and survived to narrate their personal experiences from the time the genocide started till the time that child was rescued.
