The Mental Health Counseling Program is designed to train potential counselors for a variety of mental health settings. This page provides some information in regards to the Mental Health Program.  Each student must work closely with his or her advisor in regards to the students program of study.

Prerequisites: 18 total cr. in the social sciences, including, psychology, counseling, sociology or appropriately focused university studies courses. This must including a 3 cr. course in statistics.
