Primary Responsibilities
·
Provides
assistance and services related to departmental budgets/match donations,
expenditures and where applicable, revenues, under the direction from
supervisor
·
Informs
director regarding the status of match requirements needed to fulfill grant
obligations
·
Maintains
accounting system utilized to generate fiscal reports
·
Provides
leadership in the development and implementation of on-going solicitation of
in-kind donations
·
Conducts
monthly audits to reconcile in-kind matches with GEAR UP partners
·
Educates
partners regarding allowable match and the types of supporting documentation
for contributions
·
Collects,
interprets and reports information via monthly reports including targets and
goals
·
Works
with Grants Compliance Officer in compiling and summarizing data for monthly
and Annual Performance Reports
·
Maintains
and updates database and in-kind information
·
Some
travel required
Required Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s
degree; Master’s degree in Business a plus
·
Experience
with U.S. Department of Education grants and budgets
·
Excellent
organizational skills and attention to detail
·
Knowledge
of computer application packages including use and design of spreadsheets and
databases
·
Excellent
interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
·
Excellent
organizational skills and attention to detail
·
Demonstrated
ability to work independently with minimal supervision
·
Ability
to travel with or without accommodations
·
Demonstrated
experience and understanding of customer service
·
Demonstrated
commitment to working with multi-cultural populations and awareness of issues
affecting women and minorities
Compensation: Commensurate
with education and experience. The
