Approved by the Board of Regents at its July 8, 2008, meeting, the Policy on Tobacco Usage in the Workplace provides a tobacco-free campus environment except in designated areas.  The Ad Hoc Committee on Smoking Policies & Procedures will be working with various campus colleagues throughout the 2008-2009 academic year to establish outdoor designated smoking areas, communication plans, and tobacco usage cessation programming.  This policy will take effect August 1, 2009.
