The Bachelor of Science in Psychology is consistently among the most popular degrees in the College of Liberal Arts at
Southeast Missouri State University. Indeed, it is among the most sought after degrees in the University. The overall
intent of the degree is to provide a common set of learning experiences for students wishing to pursue careers in such
fields as public affairs and social services, education, business and management, sales, health professions, biological
sciences and computing. The Bachelor of Science degree is also an excellent preparation for graduate work leading to
careers in fields such as health psychology, forensic psychology, criminal justice, physical therapy, school psychology,
law, medicine and many others.
