How can our school participate in the

Missouri SW-PBS Network?

There is a formal application process for schools interested in beginning

the Schoolwide PBS journey in the 2011-2012 school year.

Step 1:  Attend Administrator Overview of Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support to be held January 21, 2011 at Southeast RPDC.  If you are unable to attend you may arrange an overview of SW-PBS at your school building.

After the overview of SW-PBS, the Missouri SW-PBS Network application packet will be explained and given to administrators.

Step 2:  The local Regional SW-PBS Consultants will schedule a time to come to the individual school(s) to provide staff with an overview of Schoolwide PBS.   This will allow staff an opportunity to learn about the benefits of SW-PBS and for the administrator to later determine if there is 80% buy-in at the staff level.

Step 3:  Interested schools will need to complete the required activities and documents in the application and submit to local RPDC by the deadline of April 15, 2011.

Interested school administrators are encouraged to register on-line with My Learning Plan for the January 21, 2011 SW-PBS Overview.
