Dr. Boyd has been at Southeast Missouri State University for six years and has served as SME advisor for seven years.  Some of his previous industrial experience includes:  Director - manufacturing research and development firm, Project expediter - commercial construction firm, Manufacturing process engineer, Boeing - research and development, and military experience.  Dr. Boyd enjoys sailing and old model cars.
