Technology Resource Center (TRC) Industries are continuously challenged to reduce production costs, increase productivity, improve product quality, and comply with environmental concerns. To address these issues, some industries may need to modify current manufacturing processes or adopt completely new technologies. Some will need to change their business practices. Before making final decisions, industries need to be aware of their options and able to predict the performance of those options. To meet these challenges, the Technology Resource Center (TRC) was established by Ameren and is a collaboration between Ameren, the School of Polytechnic Studies and Missouri Enterprise. Missouri Enterprise is a program of the
not-for-profit Missouri Enterprise Business Assistance Center partnering with
the University of Missouri Rolla. The program is partially supported by the
NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership and the Missouri Department of Economic
Development.
