It becomes a progression of slow, continuous movements that is similar to dance, and is not considered an aerobic activity.

Participants in this class will be introduced to a Yang-style "short form" of Tai Chi, which can be practiced by individuals of all age groups to enhance relaxation and health. It is recommended that participants wear comfortable (non-restrictive) clothing and bring along a pair of warm socks or bedroom slippers. Beginner to Intermediate Fitness Level.

In 1999 he learned this particular short form from Professor Guo An Wang, a martial arts master from the Peopleís Republic of China, and has been teaching an academic course in Tai Chi at Southeast for four years.
